Welcome to Organic Mom and Child! I am an average mom whose full-time job is raising my two young sons. I have spent incalculable hours researching and testing ways to incorporate more natural food, hygienic care, and cleaning into our lives and other ways to avoid toxins in our home. I am condensing my knowledge in these areas to form this site so that other moms (or anybody looking to live more naturally) can benefit from my trials and errors. When I began looking into healthier alternatives to the many chemicals we use in our lives, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information available and was sometimes confused by the many contradictions. This is a one-stop resource for anybody trying to live more naturally, particularly for their children. If you are new to the whole "green, organic, natural" (whatever you want to call it) way of life, my suggestion is that you take it one step at a time, make changes slowly, and visit this site often as I will frequently add new information.
